Structured meditation and concentration trainings are provided in ongoing weekly groups and intensive courses. The patient’s active role in healing is emphasized in all my work.
Self healing Therapy
One of the hallmarks of this methodology is that the patient takes an active part in his or her healing. Recognizing attitudes and associated life patterns which can put the body under strain and possibly repress the immune system is an important process for the patient.
Practically, this means considering and making changes necessary to reduce the strain, gently step by step, which may help the body return to a state of stable equilibrium.
Meditation can be an enormous support in this return. It can relieve stress by focusing and organizing from the inside out. In time, it may help one learn a centered way of engaging in life with all its joys and challenges.
Overwhelm may reduce as the present moment with its depth and potential perhaps becomes more important than the past or future. In this clarity of present, wisdom and knowledge from the past can guide us in a more neutral way, and the future can inspire and structure us to focus on clear goals.
Meditation has been shown in clinical studies to relax the heart beat, deepen breathing, and relieve muscle tension. This results in the following:
- lowered blood pressure
- more restful sleep
- reduced back pain
- improved concentration and productivity
- a greater sense of confidence, self trust, and enjoyment of life
In addition, meditation has been shown to regenerate important areas of the brain.
Zero Point Training
Supporting meditation, this form of concentration work done with the eyes open engages a gentle discipline that accesses profound and constant inner strength through an intense experience of the present moment and eventually the expanse behind or through it.
This inner strength is a carrier, transforming concentration into something all-embracing, and discipline into a form of wisdom full of lightness, dynamic, and clarity. One no longer struggles and grasps, but is carried or supported to focus through a point, and from this point into an immense and calm opening. This opening, in turn, carries the concentration and discipline.
